WOW!!!

It has been ages since I last posted something!

Anyways, today is a very happy day for me! Let me explain why!

Slightly over a month ago, my laptop's keyboard suddenly malfunctioned, causing several keys to become unusable! The cause of the malfunction was unknown, but it definitely brought much inconvenience to me!

Here are the keys that stopped working:

Yes, i know! How can anyone survive without these important keys!!! Well, i'm glad to say that I did! But it wasn't all that easy from the start!

At first, i was left frustrated when i kept pressing empty keys which resulted in me typing many incomplete words as I was trying to use MSN! Furthermore, it was during a period of time where i really needed my laptop to complete my school projects!

Fortunately for me, I discovered a HP Windows Vista default: The On-Screen Keyboard!

This has been my life saver for the past month! But, it was an interesting phase that I had been through - type then click, type then click! You see. Whenever I arrived at a missing key whilst I was typing, I had to refer to the On-Screen Keyboard to click for it!

My friends and family were all so amused by it! They even laughed at me saying, "No wonder you're not playing Typing Maniac on Facebook!" That's because I will definitely keep losing! Haha!

BUT. Just minutes ago, as I was chatting on MSN, I accidentally pressed the letter "p" on my keyboard. To my surprise, the "p" actually appeared where I wanted it to be!!! I was so shocked!!! I can't believe that it just... WORKED!

After weeks of torture and frustration trying to type what I want, and going to the HP customer service center in Alexandra in an attempt to have it fixed, but only returning home in disappointment knowing that my warranty had ended and that it would cost me $161.65 to fix it - it finally just worked on its own! WOO HOO!~

I'm really happy! That's why I decided to blog about it immediately!! This experience definitely taught me to treasure the letter "P" as I realised how often I had to use it in "proposals", "camps", "prepare", "photos", "NYP", "polytechnic", "project" and many other "important" words!!!

Thank God for this miracle!!!
